Thanks Aunt Niamh in Dublin for the fabulous hat! I think it suits Flora perfectly! We can't wait to see family and friends this July in Ireland and France.
It's been a busy spring. Here's a summary of the high (and low) lights:
We found out Flora has an increased risk of Type I Diabetes (1 in 40 as opposed to the typical 1 in 300). We are trying not to panic just yet, and will do more testing as she gets older to determine if she will have it.
Our 30 week old is finally giving up the wedge. We've had some hairy nights trying to wean her from it - she really loves sleeping upright, but is slowly (and I mean SLOWLY) getting used to lying flat.
Two little teeth are peeking their way out of her lower gums. It's so exciting to see. Not so exciting for boobies.
Jacopo is an anxious doggie and the vet said he either needs to go on prosac or get his ya-ya's out with more exercise and socialization. Doggie-prosac? Seriously? We are NOT that big of yuppies.
Looking forward to our first Easter and are hosting lunch at our house! Pics to follow...

Sweet Flora - we'll pray for your glucose levels this Easter. ;)
ReplyDelete1.Laughing about the teeth/boobies comment - have been worried about that myself (though we have some months to go still...) 2.So sorry to hear about the diabetes risk, but 40 to 1 is still fairly good odds, no? 3.Flora is darling and so is that hat. :) We're headed to Europe in August and will be anxious to hear about your experiences travelling with a baby... Xx
ReplyDeleteps. Poor Jacopo. Tell him he has a kindred spirit in L.A. named Moses.
